Project commissioned and in partnership with BCG Digital Ventures
In summer 2020 Vicine was tasked to brand the venture and its first three products: Xeek, XCover, and SixLab, and we worked alongside the BCG DV design team to bring the brands to life. After a thorough research and strategic positioning, we developed the brand to reflect the company’s groundbreaking nature and unique personality. We wanted exploration to be at the very core of the brand, so we researched topographic map symbols and used them as our visual starting point.
We then asked ourselves: “Which ingredients make X Studio?” and we created a topographic-inspired symbol for each of them, to visually showcase the importance of all these moving parts in the success of the whole venture. The symbols, intertwined with typography, generate a brand identity that is truly dynamic and alive. The color palette, bridging the gap between the earthy tones at the heart of exploration and the digital nature of the venture, helps make it even more vibrant.
